Our 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 26th August 2023 in Glasgow Caledonian University, in the iconic Lantern Room.

IPA Scotland members gathered to celebrate the power of volunteers, the ‘heroes of the conference’, as well as reflect on the success of IPAGlasgow2023 - the IPA 22nd Triennial World Conference. We heard from Prof John H. McKendrick who gave his personal reflections and led us in considering the legacy of the event. Dr Sarah Goldsmith coordinated the conference volunteers, and she and some representatives of the volunteer team shared their ups and downs, and what we learned about the power of volunteering.

The AGM itself saw us saying ‘au revoir’ to outgoing trustees, Margaret Westwood, Theresa Casey and Virginia Radcliffe and warmly welcomed new trustees Henry Mathias, Elise Guthrie Stirling and Jackie Bolden.
